  • JR. APPLICATION ENGINEER: THOMASNET WEB SOLUTIONS

    OBJECTIVE: Work closely with the Application Engineers to facilitate documentation of Web Solutions requirements, project scope, and source materials. Act as a consultant to customers by leading discussions about their products and/or custom manufacturing services and developing detail plan of actions for their web strategy.            

     

    REQUIREMENTS: 2 years experience in an industrial, technical or manufacturing capacity supporting customers. Must have strong communications skills and be detail oriented. Strong Word, Excel and Power Point skills. SEO and Website experience a plus.

      • CONTENT ENGINEER: THOMASNET WEB SOLUTIONS

        OBJECTIVE: Assist with the production of database driven websites containing either industrial product catalogs or manufacturing processes geared for the engineering community. Collaborate with customers during the design, production and review of the data. Structure data content so that (1) technical users can search and retrieve products or services in an efficient way and (2) sites are optimized for search engine results. Interface with data creation staff and external vendors. Oversee data entry personnel during the production process. Work with website developers to present data in a logical, tecnically accurate and aesthetically pleasing interface. Utilize project management software to document status and progress of accounts. Research manufacturing processes and products to determine the most relevant specifications and content to be included for the sites.           

         

        REQUIREMENTS: Degree in Engineering  preferably in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering. Strong communication skills with ability to communicate effectively across all levels in the organization as well as with customers. Ability to function well in a detail and deadline oriented production environment. Familiarity with Internet search engines and research databases. Exp with Microsoft Office - Excel, Word, Powerpoint and standard computer operations.

          • CUSTOMER SUPPORT TECHNICAL ANALYST: THOMASNET WEB SOLUTIONS HORSHAM (afternoon shift; appx noon-8:00pm)

            OBJECTIVE: Provide excl customer service, problem diagnosis and creative resolution via phone or emailfor technical issues pertaining to AWS products. Maintain quality and productivity standards.          

             

            REQUIREMENTS: Min 1 yr. exp. in a formal call center or Help/Service Desk environment; familiarity with standard website navigation, email and domain options; basic HTML knowledge; proficiency in MS Office especially Excel; ability to learn and master custom application programs; superior troubleshooting and problem resolution skills; excel in customer service with outstanding interpersonal skills; strong verbal, listening and documentation skills; skilled at quantifying and documenting activities; must be able to work overtime when needed.
