CONTENT EDITOR, CLIENT ACCOUNTS: THOMASNET EDITORIAL OBJECTIVE: Create and maintain advertiser company listings. Research websites to create listings and classify to appropriate ThomasNet Product/Service categories. Work closely with the sales reps, clients and colleagues to ensure advertising company listings are accurate and meet schedules/deadlines. Help maintain all accounts through various research and QC projects.
REQUIREMENTS: College Degree or equivalent related experience. Strong command of the English language for business writing purposes. Excellent computer skills and Internet research ability. Must be detail oriented, with an understanding of schedules and deadlines. Work independently and within a team environment. Ability to work overtime.

CONTENT/PROJECT EDITOR: THOMASNET EDITORIAL OBJECTIVE: Update, maintain and develop editorial content beyond client editorial profiles. Includes review and update of data prepared by outside vendors and from external electronic sources, as well as creation and update of data from direct sources. Ongoing projects include: product search data collection and tagging; website links creation and update; brand name review and assignments; review of update data for non-advertisers and addition of new companies to editorial databases.
REQUIREMENTS: Strong research and decision making skills. Able to multi-task and handle daily heading and brand research. College degree or related exp. Strong command of the English language, proficiency in Excel and Access. Detail oriented and deadline driven.

SOFTWARE DIRECTORY EDITOR: THOMAS TECHNOLOGY NETWORK EDITORIAL OBJECTIVE: Work closely with the Online Editor to build, maintain and extend the product directories and associated services that are the centerpiece of Enterprise Software Match (ESM), TTN's online presence. Build a new and extensible data collection methodology. Work with the vendor community to gather product data, ensure accuracy of data and to keep them informed of changes to the site.
REQUIREMENTS: 2 yrs Web publishing exp, preferably in the B2B marketplace. Understand Web content and product directory structures and content elements. Strong knowledge of HTML and website design tools. Able to write savvy copy and follow standard copy editing protocol and process. BA degree.
