BUSINESS SYSTEMS ANALYST: THOMASNET WEB INITIATIVES OBJECTIVE: Liaise with project stakeholders to identify and specify complex business requirements. Analyze technical project needs and identify documentation requirements for projects. Meet with key technical staff to analyze and document software, systems, and database integrations. Organize and maintain technical documentation for projects. Ensure processes and requirements are brought into the production environment efficiently and on-time. Develop QA processes and procedures to ensure that the product fulfills stated business requirements.
REQUIREMENTS: Min 5 yrs in Business Systems Analysis. Exp with variety of Client/Server software implementations. Able to apply complex technical concepts and processes. Strong organization skills and attention to detail. Proficient in technical writing and diagramming. Understand basic concepts of content workflow, QA techniques, a development/production environment, measurement technologies, search technologies and information architecture. Degree in MIS, CS or related discipline.

PRODUCT SPECIALIST: THOMASNET WEB INITIATIVES OBJECTIVE: Assist with the operational tasks associated with ThomasNet's client web site activity tracking and reporting tool. Coordinate and carry out the tasks necessary to ensure a high-quality end product, which includes: product set-up, user account maintenance, product maintenance, product development, and user training, to ultimately ensure that client/sales force satisfaction is high and that product objectives are met.
REQUIREMENTS: A solid understanding of internet architecture and online products; able to problem-solve technical issues and see them through resolution; familiarity with HTML, JavaScript, scripting languages (e.g. ASP, PHP, etc.), dynamically generated websites, and FTP clients. Must be highly organized with strong technical writing and interpersonal skills. Exp with MS Office Suite; web programming a plus. College degree, preferably related to Computer Science/MIS.

WEB ASSOCIATE: THOMASNET WEB INITIATIVES OBJECTIVE: Responsible for monitoring, promoting, and developing high revenue content categories on ThomasNet. Facilitates traffic generation efforts, functional development, and a variety of online promotional initiatives for an assigned number of key topic areas of the website.
REQUIREMENTS: Advanced understanding of the internet, website tech, HTML, URLs, search engines, SEM, online marketing, social websites, and popular online social networks. Excellent communication skills. Ability for writing business and/or tech documentation. Knowledge of business software (ex: MS Office). Detail oriented and ability to work in a team environment. Experience with online marketing and promotion preferred. College degree required.

CONTENT WRITER: THOMASNET WEB INITIATIVES OBJECTIVE: Responsible for writing original, unique material for ThomasNet.com. Work closely with Content Manager to develop strategy, ideas and implementation. Write research and publish buying guides, "how-to's", career glossary and new articles.
REQUIREMENTS: BA degree in English, Journalism or Marketing and 1+ year experience in writing industrial focused copy. Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills. Ability to work in team environment and independently.
