  • SALES MANAGER, THOMASNET PRODUCT SEARCH: THOMASNET SALES & MARKETING

    OBJECTIVE: Create and manage sales operation for Product Search, a new advanced online media offering designed for industrial businesses. Hire, train, and monitor a team of five inside sales reps - with a potential for expansion. Develop an effective telephone sales process for winning new accounts in large volume. Engage in individual selling as well as managing the team.          

    REQUIREMENTS: Minimum 3 yrs of inside/telephone sales team management, which must include hiring, training and coaching; proficiency in web based sales; exp in a CRM environment, e.g. salesforce.com; prefer prior exp selling services to small businesses.

    Business Leader Opportunity in Greater Los Angeles

This is a highly entrepreneurial role for an executive sales leader. You will receive a license to represent ThomasNet web-based technology solutions (websites, searchable online catalogs, CAD Drawings, among others) to industrial and commercial companies in this area. Establishing a local office, you will develop, manage and lead a sales team as coach and mentor. Your team will introduce new, innovative and recurring revenue streams in addition to managing existing client relationships.

To be considered for this role, you must have a dual focus - sales management excellence and sales expertise for web-based products/services.

Specific requirements include:                                                                                                                                                                                

 · Eight to ten years sales management experience to include: recruiting, hiring, developing and motivating sales teams

· Proven experience in managing a revenue center

· A verifiable track record of growing sales revenues for a web-based product or service

· Mastery of MS Office and CRM applications, including Salesforce.com, with strong interest in leading edge business applications

· Industrial marketing experience is a plus · College degree in Business, Marketing or related discipline
