- BUSINESS ANALYST/PRODUCT MANAGER: PUBLISHING OPERATIONS
OBJECTIVE: Take responsibility for developing all projects and processes associated with, Product Search, a new advanced online media offering designed for industrial businesses. Work with internal and external teams to refine search capabilities. Work with the architecture/infrastructure team to monitor application's performance and define hardware requirements to support planned development. Analyze usage metrics to guide search development and taxonomy development opportunities.
REQUIREMENTS: Minimum 3 yrs. exp with a high traffic web application and large volume of data elements. Familiarity with content management and taxonomy management systems. Degree in a computer related field; programming exp is required. Strongly prefer experience in search application. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate to effectively and to persuasively to all all levels of the organization including executive management. Ability to develop requirements that are accesible to business stakeholders and sufficiently detailed for development groups.
