INSIDE SALES REPRESENTATIVE

Summary

Inside sales professional who sells council memberships to senior executives in the manufacturing industry via phone, email and WebEx or Glance. Responsible for attaining daily activity goals and monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.

Specific Responsibilities:

  • Rapid response to all Manufacturing Enterprise Leadership Council we leads. Ensure that all leads are thoroughly qualified per job requirements.
  • Conduct daily outbound calling campaigns to targeted lists of prospects.
  • Navigate large manufacturing organizations to sell Council memberships to individuals and groups.
  • Work closely with marketing; provide ongoing dialogue and feedback with a goal of improving the lead generation process.
  • Conduct self-analysis in order to manage performance levels against corporate goals.
  • 100% of the sales work will be done by using the phone, email and WebEx or Glance.
  • Track and communicate sales results weekly to Director of Sales.
  • Create an approved Sales Plan for the territory.
  • Adhere to strict database quality and maintenance standards.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of inside sales experience selling to senior executives, with prior experience selling council memberships highly desirable.
  • Experience with professional selling skills methodologies.
  • Highly professional and poised.
  • Skilled at interacting and negotiating with senior executives.
  • Able to work under pressure and short deadlines.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Entrepreneurial attitude and a good team player.
  • Advanced computer program skills specifically with Salesforce.com, WebEx, Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with professional selling skills methodologies.
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or marketing related field.
