ThomasNet.com Announces Winner of Chopper Giveaway Contest

Nearly 105,000 Contestants Entered for Chance to Win ThomasNet.com Motorcycle Custom-Built by Orange County Choppers

NEW YORK, June 28, 2005 - ThomasNet.com (www.ThomasNet.com), the leader in online sourcing and marketing solutions for industrial buyers and sellers nationwide, today announced that Angela Stanett, of Hydraulic Services Inc., in Columbus, Ohio, is the winner of the ThomasNet.com Chopper Giveaway Sweepstakes.

Stanett, whose contest entry was selected at random from the nearly 105,000 received, wins the custom-made ThomasNet.com motorcycle built by Orange County Choppers, the nationally renowned motorcycle shop featured in the popular television show "American Chopper' on the Discovery Channel. ThomasNet.com will present the chopper to Stanett today at Hydraulic Services.

"Everyone at ThomasNet.com is thrilled to see the high level of excitement our Chopper Giveaway has generated,' said Eileen Markowitz, president of Thomas Industrial Network. "We began this sweepstakes as a way to generate awareness about the launch of ThomasNet.com, which was built to meet the demands of industrial buyers and engineers for online access to the suppliers, parts catalogs, and CAD drawings they need to meet their exact specifications. Every month, more than a million qualified buyers and engineers turn to ThomasNet.com for information on more than 650,000 industrial suppliers in 67,000 product categories.

"All of us at ThomasNet.com congratulate Angela Stanett for winning the ThomasNet.com Chopper,' said Markowitz. "The bike is a perfect example of how industrial parts and services come together on ThomasNet.com. Every component that went into the creation of that beautiful machine can be sourced on ThomasNet.com, just like hundreds of thousands of others for virtually every industrial application. We're proud to have our name displayed on what is truly a work of motorcycle art created by the talented people at Orange County Choppers.'

The ThomasNet.com Chopper is a T-Rex Soft Tail valued at approximately $58,000. The bike features a highly modified 131-cubic-inch Gladiator Super Comp Motor with aluminum barrels and heads, tuned to deliver 125 horsepower. The bike's custom single gooseneck frame is "chopped' seven inches in the backbone and four inches at the headsteady. Together, the headsteady and triple-trees give the chopper's extended front end a total rake of 45 degrees. The frame is powder-coated "ThomasNet.com Green.' The wheels are Orange County Chopper Sever 4 wheels machined from aluminum billet and chrome plated. Pictures of the ThomasNet.com chopper will soon be available at http://chopper.thomasnet.com

"I couldn't be more excited about winning the ThomasNet.com Chopper,' said Stanett. "All I can say is thank you very much, ThomasNet.com!'

Stanett is a bookkeeper at Hydraulic Services, which is listed on ThomasNet.com. The company, a family owned business that has served customers in the Columbus area for more than 25 years, provides machining and repair services for a full range of hydraulic applications. Equipped with a machine shop, welding and fabrication facilities, Hydraulic Services offers specialized services for industrial customers, including hydraulic applications typically found in the construction, drilling, railroad, mining, sanitation and farming industries. Stanett said she entered the ThomasNet.com Chopper Giveaway Sweepstakes while visiting the site to check some information for a customer.

"I saw something about entering for a chance to win an OCC chopper. I'm a big fan of the TV show 'American Chopper,' and I just thought, 'what the heck.'' said Stanett.

"I still can't believe I won. I'm in shock. I've ridden motorcycles in the past and always enjoyed it, but now I'm planning on getting my motorcycle license because I plan on riding a lot more now.'
